It's been awhile since we've last posted, so I'd thought we'd give an update on Baby Ashford! I'm about 15 and a half weeks now and it's sooo nice to be out of the first trimester! I'm starting to show a little baby bump, although in some clothes I look more pregnant in than others. I'll have to post a belly pic soon.
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! What a beautiful sound! I feel like I had been waiting so long to hear it. This was definitely an appointment I was looking forward to! The baby had a heart rate of 140 when she checked yesterday, which is good. There is an old wives tale about the heart rate of the baby and the gender of the baby, so we'll find out if there is any truth to that! Next month, Lord willing, we'll find out if Baby Ashford is a boy or a girl! :)
