Although we're halfway through week 36, it's about time for an update! At my doctor's appointment on Tuesday, I found out that I am 1 cm dilated and 75% effaced. It was nice to hear that I was making some progress! Although, I do know that I could stay that way for awhile! But, I also found out that our little girl is breech. The doctor brought in the little portable ultrasound machine and we saw that her head is by my rib cage and her feet were first. The doctor does not like trying to turn a breech baby, which I wasn't wanting to try anyway. So the doctor felt the next best option was to go ahead and schedule a c-section since she may not turn. The doctors are still going to check at every visit to see if our little girl has flipped. The doctor said that even when we go in for the c-section, they will check to see if she's flipped. If she's flipped, then we can go on home. So it reassured me to know that they would keep checking her position, even up until the date of the c-section. We just want her here healthy and safe! So as of now, if she doesn't try to come before then, or if she doesn't flip, our c-section is scheduled for June 4th! So please join us in praying for a healthy and safe delivery, however the delivery may happen!
I still need to post shower pictures from the baby shower my sister threw me in Virginia Beach last weekend! I'll try to get those up thise weekend.
