Laurel is our little sleeping beauty and has taken on an interesting sleep schedule. So far, Laurel has not really been a napper. Laurel has done great with sleeping at night. She'll eat about every 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours during the night (the majority of time, I wake her for those) and she's been fairly easy to put down after feeding her. However, she will go about 8 hours during the day without a nap. One day this week, she was up from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm without even so much as a catnap! Part of the reason she may not be napping is because she takes her time eating, so by the time she's done, she doesn't have much time to sleep before she's hungry again! I'm not really sure how much she should be sleeping during the day, but she seems to be pretty content with the schedule she's taking on... whether it lasts or not!
Oh, I hadn't posted about our doctor's visit on Monday. Laurel had gained 5 ounces and is now up to 6 lbs, 7 ounces. So.... no more weight checks for now! Our next scheduled appointment is for her two month check-up! Praise God! We are continuing to pray that she will keep gaining weight.
