It's hard to believe our sweet, little Laurel Faith is one month-old! Sometimes, it feels like just yesterday that she was born. Other times, it feels like she's been here for a lot longer than that! We are so thankful that God chose us to be her parents. She is so precious to us and we are just overwhelmed with love for her. Laurel melts our hearts. We are having so much fun with her as she is getting to be more alert and aware of the things around her. Here are some things Laurel is doing at one month:
-She is starting to smile some. She has given us a few smiles and it just makes our day!
-She doesn't seem to mind tummy time and will stay on her tummy for a good 10 minutes or longer.
-On her tummy, when her head is laying toward one side, she can raise her head up and switch sides.
-She usually gives us one good 5 hour stretch at night. Sometimes we get another good one!
-She loves her hair being brushed.
-She doesn't seem to mind sponge baths, which is a good thing because we have no clue when her umbilical cord stump will fall off!
-She likes being in her swing.
-She mainly only cries when it's close to getting time to eat. When she's awake between feedings, she can only make it 2 hours. When that two hour mark hits, you can count on her letting you know!
We love our Laurel Faith!
