Tired Girl

Today, our girl was just plain tired! Laurel only took a 45 minute nap in the morning, when she usually takes it for about 2 hours! So she was a little cranky going into the afternoon.

Kissing my baby so maybe she won't be so cranky! You can see how tired she is!

When we were listening to the State game on the radio today (GO WOLFPACK!), Laurel just kinda conked out as Peter was bouncing her on his lap.

Our poor, sweet, little Laurel. She was just so tired. This position didn't last too long though because I woke her up to feed her and then put her down for a nap.

I was thinking Laurel afternoon nap would be really long, since she didn't take much of one this morning. I thought wrong. It maybe was an hour and a half. She definitely needed more than that! Laurel was cranky the rest of the evening because she was so tired. She was fussy and all her toys and things were just too overstimulating right then. However, I gave her a bath to help distract her from a potential meltdown. :) Laurel enjoyed the bath and I told her that I understand and that I get cranky too when I'm really tired. :) When I was feeding her, she ate so nicely(which was wonderful for me since she can be really fussy when she's eating when she's so tired). When I put her down, she didn't even make a peep. As I was swaddling her, Laurel gave me this look like, "I'm not even gonna cry, Mom. I'm ready to go to bed." I hope our sweet, little girl gets a good night's sleep tonight!
