I haven't given any updates on couponing in awhile. About a month ago, Harris Teeter had their triple coupon deals. On those few days, Harris Teeter will triple your coupons-up to a face value of 99 cents. I came with my "best coupons" hoping to get some great deals! I did come away with some good deals, but not like I was expecting. On many items, the triple coupon didn't beat what we already paid for the generic at Walmart. So I was a little disappointed, but I chalked it up to a good learning experience since it was my first time I took advantage of a triple coupon day. About a week or so ago, Lowes Food was having their triple coupon days. I fared much better this time around! I really concentrated on the items with Lowes store coupons and the ones that Lowes had on sale for the week. I got $53 worth of products for $20! I don't still have my receipt, so I don't know how much I ended up paying for certain products but I know that I got corn starch and corn syrup for next to nothing, Windex and Lysol for under a dollar. I think I got hot pockets for 50 cents maybe. There were more things, but those are the ones that stand out. So I was totally excited about those days and hope to get better and better at this couponing thing! I have a lot to learn still! Anyway, enough about couponing.
Laurel has been doing well, just a little out of sorts this week! She hasn't been taking as good of naps or just outright refusing to take a couple naps this week! So, just her being tired was probably the main contributor to her being so out of sorts. She did try cereal this week for the first time! I will be doing a post with some pictures and a video of her first time trying cereal, so you'll get all the details then! Even though it's been an off week for Laurel, she's still as cute and sweet as can be!
