Rice Cereal!

We hit a milestone on Thursday. Laurel had rice cereal for the first time! It's hard to believe she's already eating cereal! She is growing up so fast! Laurel was as cute as can be with the cereal! It was so cute watching her get used to getting food on the spoon. She made the cutest faces! She wasn't really impressed with it, but she still ate it without fussing! We got a video of her first bites, but blogger is not letting me load it. Here are some pictures from Thursday though!

Laurel has had cereal two more times since Thursday. On Friday evening she ate a little bit more cereal than she did on Friday. You could tell she wasn't any more impressed by the cereal, but she did a great job with it. Today, however, was a different story. She was a fussy before we started because she was really hungry and only ate a bite or two of the cereal and then just got really fussy. I tried giving Laurel some of her bottle and then feeding her some cereal, but Laurel did not like that arrangement! I ended up giving Laurel all of her bottle and then giving her some cereal. She wasn't interested in eating much of it, but I was pleased she still ate some.
