A great time was had by all at Bibi's birthday party, including our sweet girl! After her nap, Laurel spent time enjoying the party with everybody in the living room! I was in another room a lot of the time and I never heard a peep out of Laurel! (Because of the angle we took the picture you can't see Laurel, but she's in the room!)
After the guests left, Laurel got some time to play with the birthday girl!

Laurel took a brief break from the party to eat and hang out with Uncle Bruce.

Laurel had lots of fun visiting with Papa, too!

After she ate, Laurel kept trying to grab her bottle off the table. It was so cute! You could see her working so hard to bring both hands to the bottle to try to pick it up. When Laurel would just get it with one hand, it would slide on the table and she looked so proud of herself!

Peter and I are so proud of our sweet Laurel. She did so wonderful yesterday! Laurel has had her fussy moments and difficult days, so Peter and I had no idea how she would react to a busy day yesterday. Laurel did so much better than both of us had expected! She adapted so well to a different routine for the day. She took a brief nap in the car on the way there, a nap during lunch on Sunday, and she was good to go! Aside from when she got up from her nap, I don't think I heard Laurel fuss the whole time guests were there! She was content being passed around and just watching all the action! I was told that she sat on someone's lap just chewing on one of her toys-- it had to have been about 30 minutes. She has never done that with just us! She loved just taking everyone and everything in. Because Laurel was such a party animal during the day, we had to alter her schedule a bit that evening. She was perfectly content with that and went 3 and a half hours between her last two feedings (which, if you know our girl, is NOT typical). She did not put up a fight going to bed a little earlier and slept until her normal time! God is certainly gracious! Peter and I were so impressed with Laurel! She really could not have had a better day yesterday! Laurel has been gradually showing us how much she likes to be out and be around a lot of people, and yesterday just reiterated that for us!
