Today, Laurel went to the pediatrician for her 6-month check-up! It was good timing because of her cold and I had wanted her to get seen to make sure there wasn't anything else going on with her. Laurel was such a good girl at the doctor! She was giving smiles to everyone and being so cooperative while she was being weighed and checked out. When the pediatrician was checking her, Laurel just wanted to smile at her as she was talking instead of following the light (although we did end up getting her to follow the light). With her shots, she cried for a couple minutes and that was it. I felt so bad for Laurel because I know she wasn't feeling well and she had to get shots! She is such a little trooper!
Here are 6 month stats:
Weight: 15 lbs. 15 oz. (50th percentile)
(although Peter and I think it probably would have been higher if she didn't have this cold and was eating more)
Length: 25 1/2 in. (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 42 cm (50th percentile)
As far as her cold, the pediatrician says she looks good and her ears look good (although she said it can change quickly), so right now, it is just a cold. Hopefully, sweet Laurel won't have this cold much longer! So praise God for her health! Hopefully, I will be posting a 6-month update and pictures sometime today too!
