Our little Laurel is still fighting this cold! When I posted on it last week, I think that was just the very beginning of it, because it has definitely progressed since then! She became a lot more congested at the end of the last week (and still is) and her nose is still pretty runny. Praise God, she hasn't had a fever though. We've got the warm steam vaporizer going when she sleeps, her crib mattress is propped up a tad, and we're definitely using baby saline drops and the nasal aspirator a lot! Laurel does not like that and definitely makes it a struggle for us to get the drops and the aspirator up her nose! But other than that, Laurel has been such a trooper! She is still in a fairly good mood and plays, she is still eating a good amount (not quite as much as usual, but still good), and is sleeping pretty well. We have Laurel's 6-month check up tomorrow, so we'll check in with the doctor while were there about her cold. It's so hard to see her so congested and with a runny nose all the time! We know she must be so uncomfortable! Our poor baby! Hopefully, this cold is almost finished running its course!
Note: Laurel is wearing a diaper, but she just didn't have any clothes on because she was kind of warm this morning (no fever though) and I was letting her cool off some.
