Laurel is 7 Months-Old!

We can hardly believe that we are now closer to 1 than newborn! Peter and I feel like this has been a big month of change for Laurel. She's seeming more and more like a big girl!
Here are some things Laurel is doing at 7 months:
-Laurel is sitting up really well now. She's gotten so much more steady throughout this past month and plays pretty well when she's sitting up.

-Laurel LOVES taking baths and gets so excited when she sees the water running in the bathtub.
-Laurel grabs EVERYTHING within her reach and puts it in her mouth.

-Laurel is rolling over a lot more now, especially from her back to her tummy when she's trying to reach something.
-Laurel makes changing her diaper challenging now since she's always rolling from her back to her tummy.
-Laurel's recent pastime on the changing table has been pulling the tissues out of the box.
-Laurel still likes playing in her exersaucer.
-Laurel still loves to jump!
-Laurel has gotten her first boo boos this past month as she's tipped over when she's sitting up or trying to reach something, but doesn't quite get it.
-Laurel's laugh is contagious! We just can't get enough of it! She has silly moods sometimes where she will just laugh at anything.
-Laurel sleeps around 12 hours each night, some nights a little more, some a little less.
-Laurel still makes her "hey hey hey" noise a lot, but I've noticed the beginnings of other sounds.
-Eating solids is still a big work in progress for us. With an ear infection and colds in November and December, she was refusing it for awhile. She's now starting to eat cereal and some vegetables again, but she hasn't been real consistent. So far, she's not a big fan of fruits, and eats sweet potatoes and squash the most readily. (If any one has any tips, please let me know!)
-Laurel loves drinking water.
-Laurel has a noticeable whining sound she makes.
-Laurel still makes her screeches, but a lot of times she and I just make it back to one another, so I guess I egg her on. :)
-Laurel still loves touching faces and grabbing mouths.
-Laurel is generous with her smiles.
-Laurel is sitting still for books a little more now.
-Laurel likes to stay busy with her toys and by people entertaining her!
-We feel like we can play little games with her more.
I'm trying to make a good list so that I can look back on all that she was doing at this age. I'm sure I forgot some and may go back and add more, but those are some big things I can think of right now. I feel like Laurel is becoming more and more fun every day! She has such a sweet sweet personality and her smiles just make you melt! We just love our little girl to pieces!
