Happy New Year!

I am a little behind on the New Years post, but Happy New Year! As we enter into 2009, these are some verses that are such an encouragement to me.

Then Joshua said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you!"
-Joshua 3:5

And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people'; and they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'" -Zechariah 13:9

(I was reading some of John Piper's blog posts on prayer and this above verse was just an awesome encouragment of God's faithfuless to our prayers)


This has been such a restful Christmas break for us. It's been wonderful having Peter off work and we've just loved this time together as a family. Until I catch up on some posting, I will leave you with a picture of my two loves . :)
