9 Months-Old!

Laurel is 9 Months-Old today!! Peter and I can not believe how time is flying and how much Laurel is changing these days! She gets sweeter by the day and she just melts our hearts. We are so overwhelmed with love for our little girl.

Here are some things Laurel is doing at 9 months:
-Laurel is CRAWLING. That's been the biggest change. She's been crawling for about a week and a half and is now starting to get into things.
-She can go from sitting to crawling and from crawling to sitting.
-She is pulling up on things more. She prefers to pull up on us, but she'll pull up on other things too.
-Laurel loves walking while holding our hands. Sometimes she'll get fussy when she's playing on the floor, and then we'll stand her up, hold her hands, and she'll get so excited as she starts to take steps.
-Laurel is getting to be a pretty good eater. We definitely have rough mealtimes here and there, but a lot of times she'll just devour what we give her!
-Laurel is eating a lot of veggies, meats, and fruits. We've given her yogurt which she LOVES and she of course loves graham crackers.
-She is making a lot of sounds. Lately, we've been hearing a lot of "k," "boo," "gee" sounds. Although it feels like I say "dada" and "mama" all day long, we haven't heard those yet. :)
-Laurel is starting to stay still longer for books and definitely has her favorite books.
-Sleeps about 12 hours a night with 2 naps
-She still likes her baths
-She drinks out of her sippy cup really well.
-Laurel is really quiet when we go out; she just takes everything in.
-She gets excited when you start singing, "If You're Happy and You Know It"
-She smiles when you wave at her, but she's not quite doing it back yet.
-No teeth yet

Those are the main things, I think. I'll probably go back to this list and add things as they come to me. We go to the pediatrician on Monday for her 9 month check up, so I'll have her stats then!

Laurel is so much fun and we love being her parents! What a blessing she is!
