Meeting Reese

Peter's cousin Kim and her youngest daughter Reese were in town for Grandfather's funeral this past weekend, so we all got a chance to meet Reese. I think we all were interested to see how Reese and Laurel would play together (as much as a 16 month old and a 9 1/2 month old can play together anyway :) ). Laurel was fascinated seeing what Reese was doing and loved watching her. Reese loved that there was a "baby" around and pointed to her and said "baby" and tried to hold Laurel's hand. Soo cute! I always seemed to be at an odd angle for taking pictures of Reese and Laurel, but I did get some cute ones!

Reese did a good job of sharing toys with Laurel. Reese often offered Laurel another toy so that she could get the toy that Laurel had. Very smart! :)

It was so cute watching them play "together." They mostly just played beside each other and got in each other's way at times.

And of course there were a few times that they went after the same toys.

A cousins picture! Peter and Laurel and Kim and Reese.

We wish we didn't live so far from Kim and her family. We don't see them often enough!

I was looking through some of your older posts and I noticed the carpet in Laurel's room. Where did you get it?
