A Night Away!

This past Thursday, Peter treated me to a night away in Wilmington! Peter's parents graciously kept Laurel for the night and off we went! Peter told me in February that he was planning this trip, so it was fun for us to anticipate this night away together! It was so nice to get away and relax and know that Laurel was in such good hands! On Thursday, we went on a riverboat and walked around downtown Wilmington. That night we ate at Bluewater Grill in the Wrightsville Beach area. It was sooo good! We definitely recommend that restaurant to anyone going to Wilmington! On Friday, we walked around Fort Fischer, played some minature golf, and then ate at Sticky Fingers before heading back! We had so much fun and it was just so good to get away with my husband! Although we enjoyed our night away (and my first night away from Laurel), we were ready to see our little girl! I thought the car trip on the way back took forever! :) We had been praying about this trip since we knew we were going and God was so faithful to answer our prayers. He just really worked out the details for us to go, blessed our time together, and Peter's parents reported that she was an angel while we were gone! God is soo good!
