11 Months Old!

We can't believe our sweet Laurel is 11 months-old! I can't even believe that next month we're going to have a 1 year-old! It hardly seems time to start thinking about her first birthday and how we're going to celebrate it! However, I am already coming up with plans to take her to Chick-Fil-A on her birthday. :) Laurel is just as sweet as she can be and we're just having so much fun with her.

Here are some things our sweet pea is doing at 11 months:
-She's crawling everywhere and getting so fast. She loves crawling over things.
-Laurel pulls up on everyone and everything
-She's cruising
-Laurel will take her hands off whatever she is holding onto and stand alone for a few seconds before sitting down
-She still loves when we hold both of her hands as she walks around (just one won't do)
-Still no teeth yet! We're always looking for signs of teeth popping through!
-She's babbling, but no words yet. I feel like she's said "dada," but she we're not sure that she's said it to Peter yet
-Laurel is still a good eater. She is really good about eating her vegetables; she loves fruit, yogurt, cheese, and tortillas. She really hasn't been too into cheerios recently. She's doing really well with finger foods.
-Laurel goes to bed about 7:45 and wakes up between 7:00 and 7:30 now. She takes two naps a day. The first one about 2 hours and the second one is an hour to an hour and a half.
-Laurel has her favorite books that you can read to her over and over again
-She loves getting her hands on any kind of paper or tissue and tear it up or crumple it. Before I said that she was good about not putting it in her mouth....she's not good about that anymore. I have to keep a close eye on her when she's playing with paper.
-She loves banging on things.
-She likes playing with tupperware while I'm in kitchen.
-In her room, Laurel likes putting things in the baskets and taking things out. She's starting putting her blocks in the bucket, instead of just pouring them out and playing with them.
-She still LOVES her baths and when she's not taking a bath, she likes knocking her bath toys into the empty tub.
-She loves when we look out the window as Peter is coming home from work.
-Laurel's really wanted us to be right there with her a lot more recently. She hasn't liked when we've sat her down with her toys while we've gone to the other side of the room or gone to put something away or clean something up.

Those are the main things, I think. I'll probably add some as I think of them. Laurel is just growing up so fast and she's seeming less and less like a baby! She has such a sweet personality and we just can't get enough of our girl! We're so in love. :) What a blessing she is!
