This is what our lives looked like on June 4, 2008 when Laurel Faith Ashford came into the world!
And now on June 4, 2009 we have our our sweet, fun loving one-year old!!
We praise God for entrusting us with His daughter! Our hearts are just overflowing with love for our sweet Laurel. We just fall more and more in love with her every day! Laurel is such a sweetheart and has the sweetest little voice and laugh that we have ever heard! She is just so much fun! After Laurel goes to bed, Peter and I are usually still talking and laughing about the cute things she did that day. Laurel is a busy girl who loves to keep moving and keeping up with her is a task for which we're so grateful. I absolutely love being at home with Laurel and I am just cherishing these moments. We're so thankful that God granted us this privilege of raising Laurel and we pray that the Lord guides us as we are committed to raising Laurel in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Isn't it amazing how much they change in one short year? I couldn't believe and I still look at Izzy everyday and wonder how she got so big! I love looking at the pics of Laurel. She looks so much like you that I think I would have know she was yours just by seeing her face. Hopefully we'll be able to get together at some point! Happy Birthday Laurel!
