Fun Laurel Stories

When Laurel and I visit Peter at work on the weekends, Laurel walks around like she owns the place! Here is a story from our visit tonight.

- There is a really generous store owner there that just loves Laurel and lets her play with all of the toys in her store. While I was picking up and straightening up the toys that Laurel wasn't playing with anymore, I set my purse down. Laurel then got in my purse, got in my wallet and took a dollar out (that was not her first time, she knows what she's looking for when she goes into my purse! :) ). She walks out of the store, waving it around and then starts to give it to a little boy nearby. Although she didn't know what she was giving, I love that generous spirit of hers and pray that she will always be such a cheerful giver!


A few other stories from other days at Daddy's work...

-At this same store, Laurel has a found a little baby doll stroller there that she absolutely LOVES! It is the first thing she goes for when she gets in there and loves to push it around. One day, she walked right on out of the store with it and just kept on going until Peter got her. She just had no clue! It was so cute! However, that was the first and last time that will happen!

-There was a dad bending down to give his kids some of his popcorn. Laurel proceeds to get in line for her turn! (Our girl is a social one. She loves going to see what people are doing and just acting like she's a part of it!)

Those were just a couple I wanted to note, so I didn't forget. Laurel is so playful and she always seems to come up with the funniest things!
