Table Time

Last month, I started having a little "table time" with Laurel. She's so busy and is constantly moving around, I wanted to set aside some time where we could work on coloring and other little activities together. At first, she wasn't really into coloring, but did like playing with stickers when I pulled them out. I couldn't keep her interest for too long. I was encouraged by my sister and a friend to keep at it, and it has been really neat to see Laurel's interest for coloring grow! Now in the mornings, she will point at the drawer where I keep the crayons and coloring books so we can go color. She still loves putting stickers on paper the best, but she really has started to enjoy coloring!

At first, I had trouble with her putting stickers and crayons in her mouth, but she's gotten a lot better about it.

Since she's started to enjoy this time, I'll also sneak in puzzles and books to try to keep her there longer. :)
