We've started taking Laurel outside a lot at night to run around because it's not quite as hot and Laurel's able to run off some last bits of energy before she goes to bed! One of our favorite places to go is the Seminary. There's so much room for Laurel to just run wherever she pleases! She loves it! She never knows which way to go.
Lately, Laurel has gotten obsessed with going to every door and every step. So we'll spend the first 10 minutes or so going up the step to the door and going down over and over.
She just loves going to those doors! It's hard to get her away!
When we can get Laurel away from the doors, she just likes to walk! She loves to just walk wherever she wants. She's really improved on her walking outside. She does really well on the brick, but falls a little more on the grass.
So happy to be outside!
Laurel has a very fast pace when she walks because she's just so excited! Toward the end of the night as her little legs are getting tired, she loses that pep in her step.
We really know she's tired when she just wants Peter to carry her. Her little legs just get so tired from all of that running around!
We are loving this stage! We love watching Laurel toddle around and just get so excited over every little thing as she walking around! And an added benefit to taking Laurel outside in the evenings is that she wears herself out and often gives us a little extra sleep in the morning! :)
