Joyner Park

We have recently started exploring a fairly new park around here: Joyner Park! We have been there two of the past three evenings and we are loving it! Laurel LOVES just having space to just run around and explore so she has been thrilled to go there! Apparently the park has 3 miles of walking trails, a pecan grove, a little outdoor amphitheatre, restored farm buildings, and just LOTS of space! We definitely haven't been able to explore everything yet because Laurel is just generally delighted to wave at everyone, chase dogs or kids on scooters or bikes, and walk up and back on the same stretch of sidewalk! Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip there last night!

Laurel did stop and bang on every bench :)

Lately, Laurel's been overestimating how much she needs to step over something or go under something. When Laurel first came across these pipes last night, she got down on the ground to go over it like she would go down a step! It was too cute!

After a few times, she decided that she really could just walk over it pretty easily :)

Laurel will walk in the grass if she needs to or if that's all there is, but she definitely prefers walking and running on sidewalks

Laurel spent most of her time on Tuesday night walking up and down this one ramp!

You would have never known this little girl didn't nap yesterday afternoon :)
