I'm finally coming to the end of the Christmas posts! Soon, I'll be all caught up and blogging about 2010 events! Here is a mix of fun pictures from our time in Virginia over Christmas!
Just being silly for the camera!
My parents have a popper from when we were kids, so Laurel had a good time pushing that around the house.
My sister had some cute Santa hats at her house. We put one on Laurel to see if she would wear it and she took it right off. Caleb put a Santa hat on and then Laurel decided that she would keep hers on! What a silly girl!
I just thought this one was cute! It looks like Caleb and Laurel are having a little conversation
Another cute outtake of the cousins!
Laurel and Ashley holding hands during lunch one day. Don't you love how Laurel just looks so into it? :) The poor thing was so tired and was needing that nap that she was about to have!
Grammy and Granddad have a little rocking chair that Laurel just loved! When we got home, she kept trying to rock in her new (non-rocking) chair. Basically, now she tries to rock in any chair she sits in. :)
Sisters and nieces
Grammy and Granddad got this car for Laurel. Laurel was so funny about it! She didn't really want to get in it at first. When she discovered (well, shown) that the horn plays music, she would stand outside of the car and press the horn to hear the music. Then, she would get in it, but not really sit down. She really just wanted to get closer to the horn to play the music. Finally, after a few days, she actually got in the car and had a ball just sitting and playing the music. Even though she hadn't quite gotten the hang of moving the car with her feet, she had just as much fun sitting and playing in it!
Look at that face! You would have never known it took her so long to warm up to that car!
Playing with the kitchen set at Aunt Catherine and Uncle Greg's house
Caleb and Laurel spent a good amount of time playing in the kitchen together. That was definitely a plus as we were trying to get dinner ready!
Notice something a little different?
Laurel saw Aunt Catherine setting the table for dinner, so she decided on her own that she would help out and set another place! What a good little helper! I love seeing her do stuff like that. She always amazes me about how much she gets!
