Marbles Museum

On Saturday, we took Laurel to Marbles Children's Museum for the first time! She had a blast, but it was a little overwhelming. It was really crowded on Saturday (which we were expecting) and everything was new to her, so Laurel was kind of torn between watching/trying to play with other kids and playing with all the neat things there! We were really impressed with all the activities that they had there for her age. We didn't get to experience everything because it was so busy, but it definitely was a good first experience for her!

Laurel spent a few minutes moving the big chess pieces around!

Playing a big game of connect four with Daddy! Well, she wasn't really that interested. She just liked when Daddy made all the pieces fall out.

A learning area, although I think she's learning not to eat the bark in this picture. :)

Playing in a car

I think one of Laurel's favorite things there was the cash register! She stayed here playing for awhile!

We took a break from the crowds for a few minutes to play with some big foam blocks at the front of the museum. Laurel had a good time carrying the blocks around and knocking down the towers that Daddy built!

Laurel had a good time people watching! Kids could push packages down a little conveyor belt into the back of this little truck. Laurel was content to sit up in the front seat and watch a couple kids push the packages down.

We're looking forward to the next time we go to Marbles! Next time, we hope to go on a weekday. :)
